Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut's upcoming film Simran, directed by Hansal Mehta, will go on floors in the first week of October, confirms the actress herself.

"The workshop went quite well. We will start with the shooting next month, in the first week of October," she told mediapersons, when asked about the film's status at the Mumbai airport.
The 29-year-old actress, who will be portraying a Gujarati NRI, was recently in Atlanta for a workshop.
