According to Daily Star, the late
Thriller hitmaker's mother Katherine has "finally had enough" of his father Joe's bad behaviour.
Katherine, 80, has filed for divorce after Joe, who abused MJ as a child, blamed his wife for the death of their son in an interview.
Speaking about the months leading up to the Michael Jackson's death, outspoken Joe, 81, said of his wife: "I begged her to go over and stay with him, but she insisted he needed his privacy."
Katherine, who looks after Jackson's children Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12, and
Blanket, eight, following the singer's sudden demise death last June at the age of 50, is said to be furious by these claims.
"After 60 years, she's had enough. She's been humiliated by him for too long. She's absolutely livid. This time there's no going back," a family friend said.
Until now Katherine has refused to consider divorce because "as a Jehovah's Witness, she believes that a marriage is for ever," said the source.Joe managed 'The Jackson 5', the band made up of his five sons Jackie, 59, Tito, 56, Jermaine, 55, Marlon, 53, and Michael in the 1960's and years later it emerged that he used to hit his sons if their rehearsals went badly.
