The Rohit Shetty Cop Universe is only getting bigger and better. Days after announcing that Shilpa Shetty will be joining Sidharth Malhotra in his upcoming series Indian Police Force, the director has now shared that Vivek Oberoi will also lend his acting prowess to the project. Rohit Shetty announced the development with a still of Vivek Oberoi in action – dressed in police uniform, a safety vest and wielding a gun in hand. Also, do not miss the Ray-Ban sunglasses. Did someone say suave, yet? Sharing the post on Instagram, Rohit Shetty said, “Meet the most experienced senior officer of our squad. Welcome aboard Vivek,” along with the hashtags “Indian Police Force” and “filming now”.
Replying to the post, Vivek Oberoi said, “Thank you, my brother. Loving every moment. In 20 years I've never seen or done action of this scale. You are the master.”

The same image was also shared by the Saathiya star who expressed his elation at being a part of the project. In his caption, Vivek Oberoi said, “Charged to join the best force: Indian Police Force and be a supercop in the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe! Over the weekend, Shilpa Shetty announced her association with the project using a similar post. Sharing a photo, the actress said, “Ready to set the OTT platform on fire for the first time. Super thrilled to join the action king Rohit Shetty in his cop universe Indian Police Force on Prime, now filming."
Sharing his teaser video, leading man Sidharth Malhotra stated, “When Rohit Shetty sir says 'Action', you know he literally means it. Super stoked to enter the cop universe with the action king himself.”
Meanwhile, Vivek Oberoi is no stranger to OTT shows. The actor made his streaming debut with Inside Edge on Amazon Prime Video, which will also release Indian Police Force.
