New Delhi:

Marathon runner and Milind Soman's wife Ankita Konwar recently celebrated her 30th birthday and she did it in her own style, with suryanamaskars ( more on that later). On Tuesday, she shared a special post, in which she wrote about embracing body positivity. Posting a couple of happy pictures of herself in swimwear, Ankita Konwar wrote in her extensive caption: "Waiting for the sun to come out be like. Today's all about rest. My body can be used as a brown shade card at this moment. Luckily I have always been very comfortable with my body; be it shape, size or colour. I work out because it's fun, it brings me joy and it keeps me healthy. Not because I want to look a certain way."

Ankita Konwar signed off her post with these words, "I eat everything I like and everything that agrees with my stomach. My body is my first home. I'm grateful for it, every single moment."

On her 30th birthday, Ankita Konwar shared pictures from her festivities and she wrote: "Time for some cake after running 30k and doing 30 suryanamaskars on my 30th birthday! Birthday as I like it, no big parties, stuffing my mouth with my favourite food, enough exercise and sitting here with the people I love absolutely make up free."

Milind Soman married Ankita Konwar, also a marathon runner, in a Maharashtrian ceremony in April 2018. A few months after the wedding, the couple exchanged wedding vows in a dreamy "barefoot wedding" in Spain. The Bajirao Mastani actor was earlier married to actress Mylene Jampanoi, whom he had met on the sets of the 2006 film Valley Of Flowers.
