The Archies first look is out. And, we just can't keep calm. With Agastya Nanda as Archie, Suhana Khan as Veronica, and Khushi Kapoor as Betty, the poster has ticked all the boxes. The Archies, a Bollywood adaptation of The Archies comics, is directed by Zoya Akhtar. We would like to add that The Archies first look has created a lot of noise and for all the good reasons. Agastya Nanda's grandfather, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, just like most of us, couldn't contain his excitement. He wrote, “Another SONrise... my grandson. All the blessings, Agastya. Love you.”
Agastya Nanda's mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda has shared the fun teaser on Instagram and wrote, “This is their story.”
Shweta Bachchan also dropped the poster and wrote, “Get ready to take a trip down memory lane because The Archies by Zoya Akhtar is coming soon only on Netflix.”
Agastya Nanda's sister also gave a shout out on the special day. She has shared a snapshot featuring Agastya and write, “Hey Junior, this is your moment. Don't let anyone take it away from you. Love you. So much pride.”

The Archies will release in 2023. This is not the first time when the adventures of Archie Andrews and his gang, including Veronica, Betty, Reggie and Jughead, have been adopted into a film or a series. The world welcomed Archie Andrews with open arms when he first appeared in the Pep Comics.
Zoya Akhtar started shooting for The Archies in April. She announced it with a picture of the clapboard and wrote, “Back To The Future.”
The Archies was announced in November last year. “Archie and the Crew are about to get Down and Desi. The Archies. A coming-of-age musical drama directed by me. Coming soon to Netflix,” read her note.
