Ganesh Chaturthi is around the corner and what would have been better than Sanjay Dutt singing Ganesh aarti in his upcoming film
Bhoomi. We spotted Sanjay Dutt outside the recording studio on Monday, where he was present to record the Ganesh
aarti, which will be released soon. The team of
Bhoomi - director Omung Kumar and producer Sandeep Singh were also present along with Sanjay Dutt at the recording studio. Sanjay Dutt, who is a very strong believer of Lord Ganesh said, "I am happy to sing a great song for
Bappa," reports news agency IANS. The 58-year-old actor also said, "We celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi at my house. We worship him a lot, so I feel lucky that I have the chance to sing this song for him," reports IANS.
Talking about how the idea came into being, Omung Kumar said, "Basically it is for a scene in the film where Sanjay is performing a Ganesh
aarti." He also added, "It isn't about singing. Even if Sanjay just recites it passionately, that's enough. His voice echoes in your mind. I believe people will play this
aarti for many years to come. It is going to be a big hit," reports IANS.
Sanjay Dutt is making a comeback with Omung Kumar's
Bhoomi,
the trailer of which was released on August 10, which is the birthday of his eldest daughter Trishala. The
Munna Bhai actor also got a
heart -warming surprise letter from Trishala at the trailer launch.
Bhoomi is a revenge drama based on the relationship between a father and a daughter. Actress Aditi Rao Hydari
essays Sanjay Dutt's daughter in the film.The film hits the screens on September 22.
