Even as big plans await for the launch of the new season of
Bigg Boss with Salman Khan, there is much buzz surrounding the fourth season of
Bigg Boss Kannada, which kick off on Sunday evening.
The reality show, which is
hosted by popular actor Sudeep, has had a lot written about it so far, especially the coveted contestant list. And if a report in the
Times of India is to believed, this may, in fact, be the final list of the personalities who will share space in the house for the next few weeks.
Apparently, the channel approached many names for this season, but a few stars rejected the offer. In the end, the names included come from various fields which, of course, include the entertainment industry, however, also go into sports and politics.
The names included are filmmaker Pratham, actress-politician Malavika Avinash, actresses Karunya Ram and Sheeetal Shetty, film actor Mohan, television anchor Niranjan Deshpande, businessman Bhuvan Ponannaa, singer Chaitraa, retired actress Sprasha Rekha, former cricketer Dodda Ganesh, social commentator Kirik Keerthi, actress-dancer Kavya Shah, actress Vanishri, and television actresses Shalini and Sanjana.
Apparently, people who were approached for the show but didn't sign on the dotted line include Sreesanth, Anu Prabhakar and Rakshita Prem.
Meanwhile, the stage is set for the show which is filmed in Innovative Film City, Bangalore. There is no official
confirmation on the final contestant list. But only a few hours to go before we find out.
