- Rock On!! star Arjun Rampal is all set to follow in the footsteps of big stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Shilpa Shetty by launching his own signature perfume.
- Arjun has been quietly working on it and has formalised his arrangement with a perfume company. If all goes well the company will launch a signature collection in his name.
- "That's right, there is a perfume being launched that would have my signature on it along with it's own brand name," said Arjun.
- As per sources, the perfume would be called Alive. However Arjun is unwilling to comment on it before an official announcement is made.
- "It is a great moment. To have your own signature on a perfume is indeed a high," said the actor, who has also turned entrepreneur with his club Lap in the capital city.
- "Off late I have been concentrating a lot on Lap. I have definite plans to expand it," he adds.
- The actor boasts of a variety of roles in the last one year. With films like Raajneeti, Housefull and We Are Family to his credit, Arjun says he will now be even more selective.
- "I don't enjoy taking a roller coaster ride, I would rather be stable. Right now I am liking my space and zone. I want to be slow and steady," said the actor, who got a career boost with his villainous turn in Om Shanti Om in 2007.
- Arjun, who will be working in a Prakash Jha project, also has a role in Shah Rukh Khan's superhero movie Ra.One. The actor is playing an anti-hero in the multi-crore sci-fi movie directed by Anubhav Sinha.
- Arjun, who lost weight to portray the role, was resting after the tiresome filming and is not back in action.
- "The break after an intense shooting schedule of Ra.One helped. I have just shot for a cameo in David Dhawan's Rascals. Now that my coming two years are all sorted out, I would be working throughout this duration at a stretch. My next break won't be before 2013 now."
