Deepika Padukone is celebrating her birthday today. The actress has received a host of messages from her fans and colleagues on social media. One such message came from Ananya Panday, who has worked with Deepika Padukone in the film Gehraiyaan. Ananya has shared a photo in which Deepika Padukone is planting a kiss on Ananya's cheek with a scene from the Gehraiyaan (featuring Deepika) playing in the background. In a note, Ananya Panday wrote: “The best kinda sandwich - a Deepu sandwich. Always filled with so much love. Happy happy birthday Deepika Padukone.” She also added a heart emoji along with the note.
Deepika Padukone's Pathaan co-star Shah Rukh Khan shared a new poster of the actress from the film. Shah Rukh Khan, who headlined Deepika's Bollywood debut Om Shanti Om, wrote in the caption: "To my dearest Deepika Padukone - how you have evolved to own the screen in every avatar possible! Always proud and always wishing for you to scale new heights... happy birthday... Lots of love...Pathaan releasing in theatres on 25th January in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu."
In addition to Pathaan and Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan have also worked in Happy New Year and Chennai Express.
Deepika Padukone was last seen in Gehraiyaan.Apart from Pathaan, the actress will be seen in the Hindi remake of The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan. She will also be acting in Siddharth Anand's film Fighter, alongside Hrithik Roshan.
That's not all. Deepika Padukone will be seen in Project K with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
Deepika Padukone is best known for her work in Piku, Cocktail, Bajirao Mastani, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Padmaavat, Tamasha and Love Aaj Kal. She is married to Bollywood star Ranveer Singh.
