Kajol, who has always proved her acting mettle by slipping into the most complex of roles with ease, has completed three decades in the film industry. The actress made her acting debut at the age of seventeen with the film Bekhudi in 1992. Upon completing 30 years in the industry, her husband, actor Ajay Devgn shared a post on Instagram dedicated to Kajol. He dropped a throwback picture from the sets of Tanhaji featuring the couple. In the picture, Kajol is seen decked up in a nauvari saree and Ajay flaunts what looks like a traditional white angrakha in the image. While the couple looks stunning, it was Ajay Devgn's caption that grabbed all our attention.
Ajay Devgn wrote, “Three decades in cinema! And, you are all fired up! Frankly, you're just getting started. To many more milestones, movies and memories,” in the post dedicated to his superstar wife.

On the special milestone, Kajol also shared a post on Instagram that features glimpses of various characters that she has played on the big screen. The video showed images of Kajol in her respective avatars from different films including, Bekhudi, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaaenge, Gupt, Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya, Pyaar to hona hi tha, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Fanaa, My Name Is Khan, Helicopter Eela, Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior and Tribhanga – Tedhi Medhi Crazy. She also penned down a note of gratitude alongside the images. She stated, “Someone asked me yesterday what am I feeling? Couldn't really put it into words, except to say that it is a feeling of deep gratitude for all the love everyone has showered on me so unconditionally! So, cheers to 30 years and counting... and God willing to another 30 more!”
Like a doting husband, Ajay Devgn has always been proud of Kajol's achievements. Recently, he dedicated a post to Kajol after she was invited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to be a member. Sharing a picture of Kajol, Ajay wrote, “Congratulations to Kajol for being invited on Oscars panel. Feeling ecstatic and incredibly proud. Also congrats to all the other invitees.”
And, the support has always been mutual. Recently, their film Tanhaji won three awards at the 68th National Film Awards, including a Best Actor award -- his third -- for Ajay Devgn. Kajol dropped a throwback picture from the sets of the film and said, “Team Tanhaji wins 3 national awards. So happy and proud. Best Actor Ajay Devgn. Best Popular film providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Costume - Nachiket Barve.”
Ajay Devgn and Kajol have been married since 1999. The two have two children together –Nysa and Yug.
