At Bhubaneswar rally, Narendra Modi criticises Third Front, accuses it of coming to the rescue of Congress: highlights

Bhubaneswar: BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi today criticised the Third Front, accusing it of coming to the rescue of Congress.

Here are the highlights of his speech in Bhubaneswar:

• I am amazed that people from the Chief Minister's district have to go to Gujarat to seek work
• When others hold rally, they have a problem of gathering people. When the BJP has a rally, we have a problem of fitting people in
• There is a saffron sea (of people) here today
• The people who keep advocating the Third Front, I advise those leaders to take a helicopter and come here today. They'll know the winds in Odisha have changed  
• I have been running Gujarat for 14 years and so has your Chief Minister.
  
• In 14 years we have developed Gujarat so much that people from Odisha come to Gujarat to seek employment
  
• Why is the craftsman from Odisha who is skilled in weaving silk forced to work in Surat?
• An uttam Odisha  will be the best tribute to Biju-babu
• We have to make Odisha a state that people who have left want to come back to.
• Seeing Odisha's state, Biju-babu would be most upset... wherever he may be.
• Shouldn't we make a Odisha that is a  tribute to Biju-babu?
• I have come with intent and not promises
  
• Western India has developed faster because many states there have BJP governments - Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat

• Who are these people of the third front? 11 parties get together in Delhi for photo opportunities
  
• 9 of these 11 parties support the Congress and close to the elections  put on the Third Front mask

• Compare your situation to neighbouring Chhattisgarh. They have Maoists there too
• BJP works for development and in the past 10 years under Dr Raman Singh, they have made rapid strides
• If Chhattisgarh can change, why can't Odisha? The reason is lack of leadership
