Method 2: Through the Official Website

Students can also check their Class 10 results through the official Meghalaya Board website. To do this, visit ndtv.com/mbose.in and click on the "Result" or "Class 10 Result 2026" link available on the homepage. You will then need to enter your 9-digit Roll Code (starting with the specified letter) along with your Roll Number as mentioned on the admit card. After completing the CAPTCHA verification, click on the "Submit" button. Once submitted, the result will be displayed on the screen, showing subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, grade or division, and pass or fail status.

Method 3: Through SMS

You can also check your result through SMS. Open the message box on your mobile phone and type MBOSE10, followed by your roll number and send it to 56263. After sending the SMS, your result will be delivered to you directly on your phone via message.

The pass percentage showed noticeable fluctuations over the years, starting at 52.90 per cent in 2021 and rising to 56.96 per cent in 2022, before dipping to 51.93 per cent in 2023. It then improved again to 55.80 per cent in 2024. A sharp increase was recorded in 2025, when the pass percentage jumped significantly to 87.10 per cent, marking the highest performance in this period.

Meghalaya Board Class 10 Marking Scheme and Grading System

To pass the Class 10 board examination, students must score a minimum of 30 per cent marks in each subject as well as secure an overall aggregate of at least 30 per cent. In certain eligible cases, grace marks may be awarded, allowing students to receive up to the prescribed limit to help them meet the required passing criteria.

Re-evaluation, Re-checking & Verification Process

Students dissatisfied with their marks can apply online for re-checking or re-evaluation within the prescribed window. Only theory papers are eligible. Practical and internal assessment marks cannot be challenged.
