Maharashtra SSC result has been announced today by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education. The Maharashtra 10th result has been announced in a press conference and the results will be online on the official website later. As per reports, over 17 lakh students had registered for the Maharashtra Board 10th exam this year. SSC exams in Maharashtra were held in March, however the board had to postpone one paper due to the coronavirus pandemic and ensuing lockdown. Students will be able to check their result on the board's official results portal, 'mahresult.nic.in', and other private result websites. Maharashtra Board has already announced HSC or class 12 results. Maharashtra board result for class 12 was announced on July 16.
"Be successful! Be skilled! Be glorious! Congratulations to all the successful students who have passed the 10th standard and best wishes for the future academic journey," wrote Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad on Twitter.

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray also congratulated students on their success in 10th board exams.
"Congratulations to all students as you cross an important milestone of SSC exams and embark on the next stage of life’s journey. Even if the results haven’t been up to your expectation, don’t be disheartened as life is full of opportunities. My best wishes are with all of you," he wrote on Twitter.

This year Maharashtra board held exam for 60 subjects in class 10 out of which 20 subjects have recorded a pass percentage of 100 per cent.
Total 5,39,373 students have been placed in the first division with merit. A total of 5,50,809 students are in first division, 3,30,588 students are in second division, and 80,334 are in third division.
Maharashtra SSC result will be available on the official result website (mahresult.nic.in) at 1 pm.
Among girls the pass percentage is 96.99 per cent and among boys it is 93.90 per cent. Pass percentage among differently-abled students is 92.73 per cent.
Among the regions, Konkan region has recorded highest pass percentage with 98.77 per cent and Aurangabad has recorded lowest pass percentage at 92 per cent.
Total 15,84,264 students had registered for the exam and 15,75,103 appeaerd for the exam. Ouyt of these, 15,01,105 students have qualified this year.
Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has tweeted that the Maharashtra Board SSC result will be available on website at 1 pm.

Various regions from Maharashtra recorded these pass percentages today in the SSC results 2020:
Konkan: 98.77%
Pune: 97.34%
Nagpur: 93.84%
Amravati: 95.14%
Latur: 93.09%
Aurangabad: 92%
Konkan region recorded best performance in the SSC results declared today with 98.77 per cent.
In the Maharashtra SSC result announced today, 95.30 per cent students have qualified for higher education.
Board Chairperson is addressing the media now before announcing the SSC results.
Students who do not qualify in the SSC exam, will be allowed to appear in Supplementary exam to clear their papers this year. Details on supplementary exam will be released by the board later.
Maharashtra SSC result will also be available on some private result websites like 'indiaresults.com', and 'examresult.net'. However, students are advised to confirm their result from the official website.
As per some reports, Maharashtra Board will hold press conference for SSC result declaration at 11 am.
In 2019, Maharashtra board announced SSC results on June 8. 88.38% students passed in the exam with 20 students scoring a 100%.
Maharashtra Board has already announced HSC result. Maharashtra 12th result was announced on July 16.
Maharashtra government has launched a new portal for admission to first year of junior college (FYJC) or class 11. The online portal will facilitate admission to class 11 in Mumbai metropolitan area, Pune - Pimpri Chinchwad, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati, and Nagpur municipal area.
After Maharashtra SSC results are announced, the state government will gear up for class 11 admission which will be facilitated online.
