The GUJCET 2020 examination will be held today, August 24. The examination is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, also known as GSEB. The Gujarat CET 2020 admit card has been released by the board the official website, gujcet.gseb.org. Students must carry keep their Gujarat CET 2020 admit card handy all times.

The GUJCET 2020 exam, to be conducted in pen and paper mode, is a gateway to admissions in degree and diploma programmes in Engineering and Pharmacy courses amongst the state's institutes.

Initially, the GUJCET 2020 exam was scheduled to be held on March 31 for which GSEB had released admit card as well. However, to contain the spread of COVID-19, the authorities took a decision to postpone the examination.

GUJCET Exam 2020 Preparation

The syllabus of GUJCET 2020 aligns with the NCERT curriculum, set for higher secondary classes.

There are four main subjects -- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Each section carries 40 questions. Each question carries one mark and students must be careful of the negative marking pattern while answering the questions, as .25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.

The students must carry their GUJCET 2020 admit card, failing to which the entry will be restricted. Also, keeping the security and safety measure in check, the students need to additionally carry sanitizer, mask and hand gloves to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The board will release the GUJCET 2020 answer key after the GUJCET 2020 exam. The students will be able to calculate their probable scores by downloading the answer key.

To avoid any delay, students are advised to reach the examination centre as per the time mentioned on their admit cards. Any electronic device will not be permitted inside the examination hall.
