CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2018 Date Sheet Expected In January
In an official notification (dated 18 December 2017), CBSE has confirmed about conducting AISSE and AISSCE exam in March 2018. The Board has directed schools for nomination and deployment of regular teachers for the evaluation of answer scripts of secondary and senior secondary school certificate exam 2018. 'To ensure quality and error free evaluation of the answer booklets, the Board requires a large number of experience and trained teachers to complete the whole process in a time bound manner,' says the Board. Affiliated schools have been asked to upload the data of teachers before 5 January 2018 on the examination portal of the Board.
CBSE board exams are expected to begin after Holi. 'The exams are going to start after Holi, which is on March 2, 2018. Generally the exams start on March 1 or 2 provided they are not holidays. The 2018 exams are likely to start from March 5, which is a Monday, for both the classes," said a senior CBSE official to the Times of India.

Contrary to the long time practice, the Board had proposed to conduct the examination early in order to ensure timely and quality assessment of the answer scripts. This stirred panic among students with the news going around that CBSE is planning to conduct board examination 2018 in February.
