Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta today sat on dharna outside the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, demanding CBI probe into alleged suicide of a female AAP activist in Narela.
The dharna was directed to be ended, by SDM (civil lines) exercising his power to issue order in urgent cases of nuisance of apprehended danger under Section 144 of CrPC.
The protestors accompanied by Mr Gupta and BJP legislator OP Sharma demanded resignation of Mr Kejriwal and DCW chief Swati Maliwal for "ingnoring" the woman's complaints.
Mr Gupta also demanded adequate compensation to the family of eight-year-old Anas who had drowned in a drain in Rani Bagh in May this year.
