Delhiites woke up to a chilly morning today with the mercury dipping to 11.5 degrees Celsius.
"At 8.30 AM, the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal for this time of the year and humidity level was recorded at 95 per cent," said an MeT official.
He further said, the sky is likely to get clearer with which the minimum temperature shall drop further down tomorrow.
The weatherman predicted mainly clear sky for the day with moderate to dense fog in most places and 'very dense' fog at isolated pockets in the morning and forenoon.
"While the maximum temperature is likely to settle at 21 degrees Celsius, two notches below average, the minimum is likely to drop down to 10 degrees Celsius, one degree above the average," said the official.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius and minimum at 15 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels oscillated between 55 and 98 per cent, the official added.
