Chandigarh:
In a shocking incident, after waiting in the hospital queue for over two hours, a woman delivered a stillborn child in Chandigarh.
The incident took place at the government hospital of sector 16 in Chandigarh.
The woman, Bulbul, and her labourer husband Chhotu Ram, were standing in the queue since 9 am on Wednesday morning.
Chhotu Ram alleges that, Bulbul who was in labour, delivered the baby while standing in the queue, before she could be attended by any doctor. She delivered while her blood samples were being tested.
The husband also says that the delay was caused as they were asked to produce the medical card or get it made in case they didn't have it.
However, the hospital denies all charges and says there was no delay.
The hospital also went on adding that the baby died in the womb of the mother and as it was her third child, she could have possibly not felt the tremors.
The woman was admitted immediately after the incident and is still in the hospital.
