Kochi:
A Qatar airways Doha-Kochi-Doha flight was grounded on Monday after cowling of the engine suffered some damage as it hit an aerobridge while moving towards the parking bay shortly after it arrived in Kochi with 234 passengers early on Monday.
None of the passengers was injured.
Airport sources said 206 passengers had taken tickets from Kochi to travel to Doha.
Most of them have been sent by other flights and few remaining have been accommodated in hotels.
Airport sources said the technicians of the Qatar airways were expected to reach Kochi on Monday night to rectify the damage.
