Mughal era coins unearthed in Uttar Pradesh, ASI informed

Sambhal: With digging of gold in Unnao dominating the discourse in Uttar Pradesh, coins of Mughal era have been recovered from a field in Asmauli area of Sambhal.

Superintendent of Police Tehsildar Singh today said that 20 bronze coins having Persian inscription were recovered from a pot in the field of Surendra Singh in Akbarpur Gahra area yesterday.

Archaeological department has been informed about the finding, the officer said.
