Medicos suspended for dereliction of duties

Andhra Pradesh: Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) Four medicos and three other staff of the District Medical Health office in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh were suspended for dereliction of duties.

District Collector M Ravichandra directed the DMHO to issue show cause notices to the erring and absentee staff after a surprise visit to the health centre. Doctors V Surya Rao, Phani Kumar, Srirani and Himabindu besides medical staff Lakshmi Naidu, Srinivasa Rao and Varalakshmi have been suspended.
