Lucknow:
Five persons, including a teenage girl, allegedly committed suicide in different parts of the city, police said in Lucknow on Monday.
Fifteen-year-old Neetu, a student of class eighth, hanged herself from the ceiling of her room on Sunday evening at her Chinhat residence allegedly after being scolded by her mother, they said.
In the second incident, Gausiya (38) committed suicide at her Hassanganj residence after having an argument with her husband Aslam.
In another incident, Santosh (30), hanged herself at her parents house in Bazarkhala.
In a separate incident, Maya Devi (23) hanged herself at her residence in Banthra village.
Meanwhile, Ram Bilas alias Monu (22), hanged himself from the ceiling of a room at his Kakori residence after being scolded by his mother.
