Delhi: Property dealer stabbed to death

New Delhi: A 32-year-old property dealer was stabbed to death on Sunday allegedly by his two business rivals over a work related dispute.

The victim has been identified as Sunil Kumar alias Kale, a senior police official said, adding that the incident took place in Neemwala Chowk in central Delhi's Nabi Karim at around 12:15 am.

Sunil was asked by the accused Rajeev Kumar and Pinku to come to the locality for settling a deal on which they had disagreement, the official said.

All the three are residents of Nabi Karim and have cases registered against them. They had been declared "bad characters" by the local police, he said.

"The dispute was over a property bought by Sunil. The trio had a heated argument. They started talking about the deal and soon entered into a scuffle. Sunil was attacked," he said.

During the scuffle, the official said, Sunil was stabbed. He was rushed to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Doctors said Sunil had a deep stab wound on his neck besides other injuries on his body. Excessive bleeding led to his death, they said.

A case has been registered and a hunt is on to nab the culprits.
