The business magnate was invited to the event as a guest of honour and is the first ever Hyderabadi to have been bestowed with this honour. She was also representing India at the event and is the second woman from India who attended the annual gala.

In the past celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Will Smith, Kerry Washington, Kate Hudson, Steven Spielberg, Drew Barrymore, Reese Witherspoon and Chris Tucker have made their presence felt at the event which is hailed as the Met Gala of the media world.

She made quite a statement in a Jenny Packham emerald gown, paired with a Hermes Birkin handbag, and the Bulgari Serpenti necklace. She was seen rubbing shoulders with the likes of Antony Blinken, Winnie Harlow and congresspeople.

As a business magnate, Ms. Reddy was at the event to represent the MEIL Group and showcase her conglomerate's achievements and impact. She took the opportunity to network and connect with other industry leaders, discussing business and governance issues.
