Job stress drives man to suicide

Bangalore: A 38-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a lake due to depression and stress related to career, police said.

Prabhakar, the victim, had left home Saturday night and his body was found on Sunday from a lake in the district, they said.

An employee of a private firm, Prabhakar left behind a suicide note saying stress at work and his perception that his career was not progressing well had driven him to suicide, police said.
