Tata Punch EV Facelift Deliveries Begin In India; Check Specs, Price And More

Tata Motors has started the deliveries of the Tata Punch EV Facelift in India. Launched on 20th February 2025, the facelifted model comes with refreshed styling, new features, and improved battery options. Prices begin at Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) version, while the standard model starts at Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Punch EV Facelift: Powertrain

The 2026 Punch EV offers two battery choices - a 30 kWh pack and a larger 40 kWh pack. The bigger battery delivers an ARAI-certified range of up to 468 km, making it suitable for long drives. Charging options include 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW AC chargers, along with a 65 kW DC fast charger that can recharge the battery from 20-80% in just 26 minutes.

Tata Punch EV Facelift: Design

The facelift brings noticeable changes to the SUV's exterior. The front fascia now looks cleaner with body-coloured panels replacing the earlier black strip. The headlamp position has been revised, and the DRLs are connected for a more modern appearance. Subtle bumper tweaks further align the Punch EV's styling with Tata's newer electric models like the Nexon.ev and Harrier.ev.

Tata Punch EV Facelift: Interior And Features

Inside, the Punch EV facelift introduces a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a digital instrument cluster, and Tata's new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo. The centre console features touch-based controls and rotary dials, complemented by dual-tone dashboard finishes and leatherette upholstery. Feature highlights include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, ventilated seats, cooled glovebox, automatic climate control, connected car tech, cruise control, and three drive modes. Safety equipment includes six airbags, hill hold assist, electronic stability program, 360-degree camera, rear wiper with defogger, i-TPMS, and Isofix mounts.

Tata Punch EV Facelift: Variants And Price

The Punch EV facelift is available in five trims - Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+. Prices start at Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Smart variant with the battery included. Under the BaaS program, the entry-level Smart variant is priced at Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most affordable electric SUVs in India.
