Tata Altroz facelift has been launched in the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom), which extends up to Rs 11.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The premium hatchback in this iteration comes with multiple changes in design, interior, feature list, and powertrain. To mention a few, the design features like segment-first flush door handles, connected tail lamp, largest digital instrument cluster in the segment, 10.25-inch infotainment screen, and more.

Additionally, the Tata Altroz facelift is the only model in the segment to offer the option of a 1.5-litre diesel engine along with 1.2-litre petrol and CNG engine options. The Transmission options include 5-speed MT, 6-speed DCA, and a newly added 5-speed AMT. All of this, with the aforementioned features, is expected to help the car have a better position against its rivals like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza. Maruti Suzuki Baleno

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is one of the most popular premium hatchbacks in the Indian market. It has recently gotten its 2025 version and comes with a 1.2-litre engine with the option of a petrol and bi-fuel CNG powertrain. The transmission options include a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT. However, the CNG version only gets a manual transmission. With all of this, the car has a starting price of Rs 6.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai i20

The Hyundai i20 is placed above the Grand i10 NIOS in the brand's lineup and gets an N Line version in the Indian market. Under the hood, it has a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an iVT. With all of this, the car has a starting price of 7.04 lakh (ex-showroom), making it slightly more expensive compared to the other models in the category.

Toyota Glanza

Toyota Glanza is the brand's most affordable model on sale in India. It comes at a starting price of Rs 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and has been developed in partnership with Maruti Suzuki. Hence, it shares its underpinnings with the Baleno and comes with a 1.2-litre engine.
