Suzuki Motorcycle India has achieved a significant manufacturing milestone by producing its 10 millionth two-wheeler at its Gurugram facility. This accomplishment coincides with the company's 20-year presence in the country and signifies a notable increase in production in recent times.
The first 5 million units took the manufacturer 14 years to produce, a milestone achieved in 2020. The subsequent 5 million units were completed in just six years, driven by sustained demand and a wider variety of models. The commemorative unit was a Suzuki Access Ride Connect Edition, which is currently the brand's best-selling scooter.

While Suzuki's lineup now includes scooters, commuter motorcycles, and high-performance bikes, the Access 125 is still the brand's signature product. Launched as India's first mass-market 125cc scooter, it has undergone three generations of development and continues to lead in Suzuki's sales figures.
Other models such as the Burgman Street and Avenis, along with the Gixxer 150/250 series and the adventure-oriented V-Strom SX, have contributed to expanding the company's presence. In the premium segment, the India-assembled Hayabusa has played a crucial role in enhancing the brand's upscale image.
Looking forward, Suzuki is adopting a multi-faceted strategy for alternative mobility. It has recently launched the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel, which can run on E85 petrol, and confirmed its first electric two-wheeler for India, the e-Access.
