
Suzuki has unveiled the special edition of its legendary bike- the Hayabusa. While the special edition Hayabusa retains the mechanical aspects, it gets a new paint job. This special edition Hayabusa will be available in several international markets, while the brand has not yet specified its arrival in India.

Talking about the major changes, the special edition Hayabusa gets cosmetic upgrades. It is highlighted by a bright blue bodywork with white accents. Another key highlight is the retro-style, thick special edition emblem on the tank. On the rear end, the special edition Hayabusa comes equipped with a new pillion seat cowl that follows the same blue and white paint scheme.

The special edition gets no changes on the mechanical front, retaining the 1,340cc, inline-four cylinder engine that churns out a peak power and torque output of 188 hp and 149 Nm, respectively.

The present generation of the Suzuki Hayabusa host features like a six-axis IMU, power-mode selector, anti-lift control system, bi-directional quick shift system, engine brake control, traction control system, launch control, and more. It is worth mentioning that the Indian version of the bike misses out on a few electronic changes made in the international version. Specifically, it makes changes in the launch control system to adjust the engine for different speeds.\

While the brand has been tight-lipped about the launch of the special edition Hayabusa in India, Suzuki is likely to bring it to the country, as India is one of the largest markets for the brand.
