Royal Enfield has joined the other two-wheeler manufacturers to announce that they are passing on the full benefits of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate reduction to their customers. The changes in the pricing of the motorcycle will come into effect from 22 September 2025, following the introduction of the GST reforms announced by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman after the GST council earlier this month.

The changes will be implemented for Royal Enfield's 350 cc range, which includes some of the best-selling models, including Classic 350, Hunter 350, Bullet 350, and Meteor 350. These models will see a price reduction of up to Rs 22,000. It is to be noted that the prices of the motorcycles above 350 cc will also be revised under the new structure. The range includes Himalayan 450, Guerilla 450, and the motorcycles based on the 650cc platform.

Commenting on the announcement, B Govindarajan, Managing Director - Eicher Motors Ltd., and CEO - Royal Enfield, said: "The Government of India's latest GST reform will not only make motorcycles under 350cc more accessible but will also excite the first-time buyers. Royal Enfield is delighted to announce that we are passing the full GST benefit of the price revision directly to our consumers, opening the world of Royal Enfield to an even larger community of riders."

Starting September 22, 2025, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on motorcycles with engine capacities up to 350cc will decrease from 28 percent to 18 percent. Conversely, motorcycles with engine capacities exceeding 350cc will now incur a tax rate of 40 percent. Consequently, all Royal Enfield models with engines larger than 350cc will see an increase in price.
