Suzuki Motorcycle India has revised the prices of its motorcycles for the Indian consumers. The update comes following the revision in GST rates, which have been increased for motorcycles for engine capacities of over 350 cc. For Suzuki, the list includes the legendary Hayabusa, V-Strom 800DE, and the middle-weight GSX-8R.
As the highest-priced model in Suzuki's Indian lineup, the Hayabusa has been the most affected by the GST revision, leading to a price increase of Rs 1.16 lakh. This means the prices of the motorcycle have gone up from Rs 16.90 lakh to Rs 18.06 lakh.

The Suzuki Hayabusa holds the title of the top-selling superbike in India. However, the recent increase in GST might lead to a temporary decline in sales. Notably, the Hayabusa enjoys a significant fan base. Therefore, over time, sales figures could potentially return to levels seen before the GST hike.
The V-Strom 800DE and GSX-8R have also experienced price hikes, although not as significant as that of the Hayabusa. The V-Strom is now available for Rs 11.01 lakh, which is an increase of Rs 71,000, while the Gixxer's price has risen by Rs 64,000 to reach Rs 9.89 lakh.
Earlier this year, all three bikes were updated to comply with the OBD2B emissions regulations; however, the update did not bring about major changes or a price hike at that time.
