Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 was introduced by the brand as an adventure tourer capable of tackling rough terrains. While many trust its capabilities, some want to push it beyond its limits. To achieve this, a British Royal Enfield dealer, Cooperb Motorcycles, has upgraded it with some bolt-on upgrades. Called the Phantom in this avatar, the bike can be tailored to suit the buyers' needs using the package.

The basic Phantom package includes a selection of changes, allowing for a choice between a K-Tech or Hagon rear shock, both reportedly featuring preload and compression damping adjustments. In addition, the setup consists of Cooperb bar risers, a Cooperb front hose relocation kit, a front lower mudguard, and pivot pegs, all better suited for performance off-road.

To make things better, consumers have an option to use lightweight SM Pro rims with inner tubes. It also has the option of 18-inch wheels with knobby tyres. To protect the motorcycle, the bike also gets engine case savers and fork tube guards. All of these upgrades together cost over the motorcycle's price in the UK at 10,299 Pound (around Rs 12.73 lakh) and stretch to 12,000 Pound (around Rs 14.83 lakh).

The power unit remains the same with a 452cc single-cylinder 'Sherpa' motor. However, the exhaust it now uses is a full HP Corse with a DNA induction kit and FuelX Pro Plus fuel programmer, allowing for laptop-free adjustment across 10 air-fuel settings.

The motorcycle participated in the Valleys X-Treme Lite race in South Wales, where Cooperb entered three 450s in the competition, incorporating some of the enhancements mentioned here. Achievements included a victory in the Big Bike Single class, with Jake Edey as the rider.
