Norton Motorcycles, a part of TVS Motors, recently unveiled its new motorcycle range at EICMA in Italy. The models included the performance-oriented Manx R and Manx, as well as middle-weight adventure motorcycles, the Atlas and the Atlas GT. Now reports have surfaced on the internet suggesting that the adventure twins will be launched in the Indian market in mid-2026. Meanwhile, the brand is also likely to showcase this new range of motorcycles at the upcoming TVS MotoSoul 2025.
The Indian launch of the Atlas motorcycles is expected to occur after its debut in the European market in April. While pricing details are not yet available, it is anticipated to be competitively priced due to its manufacturing at TVS Motor Company's Hosur plant. This competitive pricing could provide strong competition to its rivals in the country, potentially undercutting models like the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Triumph Tiger 660.

Norton has kept most information about the Atlas motorcycles under wraps, but we know that the Atlas twins will debut in three different trim levels. The remaining details are still undisclosed and will be announced later.
What we currently know is that the adventure motorcycles will feature a 585 cc parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank configuration. According to a report by MCN, it will offer the "widest spread of torque in their category." The power will be delivered to the wheel through a six-speed transmission.
The road-oriented Atlas GT will be equipped with 17-inch Michelin Road 5 tires, while the Atlas will come with 19-inch front wheels and Bridgestone AX41 dual-purpose tires. Furthermore, the variants will share the same electronic features but will vary in wheel size, suspension setup, and engine management systems. Hence, they are likely to have a different set of riding aids.

In addition to providing the motorcycles at a competitive price, the company will equip them with numerous features. The motorcycles will be fitted with an 8-inch touchscreen TFT display, lean-sensitive riding aids, backlit controls, and projector LED lights. There will also be additional accessories available, including engine guards, handguards, and three-piece luggage.
