The Hyundai Venue has been a strong player in India since its debut in May 2019 and is finally getting its first major update. Test mules of the next-gen model have been spotted multiple times, signalling that its launch is just around the corner. With the information that we have at our disposal, we can confirm that the refreshed Venue is expected to arrive in showrooms during the upcoming festive season.

According to previous spy shots, the new-gen Hyundai Venue will feature an exterior design in line with the brand's new design language. Specifically, lightning follows a pattern that we have seen on the Creta. Along with the DRLs, the SUV is expected to get vertically stacked rectangular headlamps with a dual-chamber LED reflector. The mules were seen with inverted L-shaped DRLs on either side.

Meanwhile, the silhouette of the SUV is mostly the same as the outgoing model. However, there are a few changes in the placement of the body cladding, and it is expected to get a new design for alloy wheels. Furthermore, the ORVMs come with a sharper appearance and a different design for the roof rails.

The interior of the next-gen Hyundai Venue is expected to get an upgrade with a new layout for the dashboard, revised upholstery, and an extended list of features. The list might include elements like ambient lighting, ventilated seats, ADAS, six-airbags, a bigger infotainment screen, and more.

Under the hood, the new Hyundai Venue is likely to retain the powertrain options from its current iteration, which include a 1.2L petrol, a 1.0L turbo-petrol, and a 1.5L diesel engine, available as options. Hyundai will also continue to offer multiple gearbox choices, including both manual and automatic choices.
