Kia India has expanded the Carens Clavis EV line-up in India with the introduction of new GT-Line and X-Line trims, along with a new 6-seater configuration. The Model Year 2026 (MY26) update brings enhanced styling, added features and improved cabin comfort, making the electric MPV more appealing for both private and chauffeur-driven use.
Kia Carens Clavis EV: New Variants And Seating Options
With this update, the Carens Clavis EV now gets GT-Line (GTX, GTX+) and X-Line trims for the Extended Range variants. Additionally, buyers can now opt for a 6-seater layout with second-row captain seats, alongside the existing 7-seater configuration. The new seating arrangement is aimed at improving passenger comfort and offering a more premium in-cabin experience.
Kia Carens Clavis EV GT-Line, X-Line : Design And Features
The GT-Line trims bring a sportier look with elements like new alloy wheels, lime brake calipers and metal pedals. On the other hand, the X-Line variant adopts a more rugged design with a darker theme, including an exclusive Dark Gun Metal exterior shade.

Inside, the EV gets a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a large 26.62-inch dual panoramic display and over 85 connected car features. Higher variants also offer features like Digital Key and battery heater technology. Safety is taken care of with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist and more.
Kia Carens Clavis EV GT-Line, X-Line : Powertrain And Range
The Carens Clavis EV continues with two battery pack options - a 42 kWh unit offering an ARAI-certified range of 404 km, and a larger 51.4 kWh (available for GTX, GTX+ and X-Line as well ) battery delivering up to 490 km on a single charge. It is powered by electric motors producing up to 126 kW and 255 Nm of torque. Fast charging allows the battery to go from 10 to 80 per cent in just 39 minutes.

Kia Carens Clavis EV GT-Line, X-Line: Price
Prices for the updated Carens Clavis EV start at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and go up to Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec GTX+ and X-Line trims.
