Cars Used In Dhurandhar Movie - Land Cruiser 60 Series, Lexus LX 470, And More

Ranveer Singh's latest film, Dhurandhar, has been receiving widespread praise for its gripping storyline, impactful dialogues, and stellar performances. Moviegoers are hailing it as a path-breaking addition to Bollywood, with many calling it one of the finest spy thrillers in recent years. Beyond its cinematic appeal, Dhurandhar also struck a chord with automobile enthusiasts, thanks to the inclusion of several globally admired cars. This unique blend of high-octane drama and automotive excitement has broadened the film's appeal, making it a standout experience for both cinema lovers and car fans alike. Here are a few cars we saw in the movie that you must know about.

Lexus LX 470

SP Aslam Chaudhary is relentless in his pursuit of Rehman Dakait and his gang, and his ride of choice is none other than the Lexus LX 470. The SUV, finished in striking white, perfectly complements Sanjay Dutt's rugged and aggressive screen presence. From dodging bullets to powering through thrilling chase sequences, the LX 470 showcased its strength and style, standing tall alongside Dutt in the film's high-octane moments.

Land Rover Defender

Major Iqbal, played by Arjun Rampal, is seen stepping down from the Land Cruiser Defender in the movie.

The Land Rover Defender in the Indian market gets the option of a 2.0-litre petrol engine. However, unlike the V8, this option is only available with the 110 body style and X-Dynamic HSE trim. There is also a 3.0-litre diesel engine that comes fitted with all three body styles- 90, 110, and 130 in X-Dynamic HSE, X, and Sedona Edition.

Isuzu D-Max

Renowned for its off-road prowess and tough design, the Isuzu D-Max serves as a protector in Rehman Dakait's convoy. It barrels through traffic and tackles rough terrain with ease, relentlessly pursuing Dakait's enemies in no time.

Talking about the details, the Isuzu D-Max is powered by a four-cylinder 1.9-litre turbodiesel engine producing 162 bhp and 360 Nm of torque. It comes with a six-speed automatic gearbox, though a manual option is also offered.

Tata Xenon 

Although the car logos in Dhurandhar were deliberately removed, we were eager to identify the models. Just as Rehman Dakait's convoy featured the Isuzu D-Max, SP Aslam Chaudhary relied on the Tata Xenon. The rugged pickup was deployed to block Rehman's escape and served as the official vehicle of the Lyari Task Force in the movie, adding authenticity to the high-intensity chase sequences.

Toyota Land Cruiser 60 Series

Akshaye Khanna is winning acclaim for his portrayal of Rehman Dacait, with audiences especially enjoying the lively entry song that pairs its peppy beats with his catchy hookstep. Later, as Rehman heads to meet the Afghan rebel, one detail that instantly grabbed attention was the presence of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60, adding a rugged touch to the scene and amplifying the film's raw, action-driven appeal.

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60

The Toyota Land Cruiser 60 Series was made between 1980 and 1990 and is no longer in production. Offered with manual and later automatic gearboxes, along with solid axles, leaf springs, and dependable 4WD. These features made the FJ60 well-known for its durability and off-road strength.
