BMW is preparing to retire one of its most iconic sports the Z4-after 23 years and three generations. The open-top roadster has been a symbol of driving fun and style, but its journey is coming to an end. Before saying goodbye, BMW is celebrating the Z4's legacy with a special farewell model called the Z4 Final Edition.
This limited edition is built on the powerful six-cylinder Z4 M40i, the top variant in the lineup. It will be offered in just one fully loaded configuration, packed with premium features and performance.
The manual variant comes equipped with the Handschalter Package, which brings specially tuned software for the rear dampers, steering, traction control, and the M Sport differential. Under the hood, it retains the tried-and-tested 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine, delivering 387 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. Also, the brand will offer an 8-speed Steptronic automatic as an option.
The BMW Z4 Final Edition stands out with its exclusive Frozen Matt Black paint, a finish reserved solely for this farewell model. The bold shade accentuates its dynamic character and pairs strikingly with the standard M High-gloss Shadowline trim. While Frozen Matt Black is the highlight, buyers can also opt for other colours from the Z4 palette at no extra charge. Adding to the sporty appeal, the Final Edition comes equipped with M Sport brakes in High-gloss Red, delivering both sharp stopping power and eye-catching style.
On the inside, the BMW Z4 Final Edition will get special red stitching that runs across the instrument panel, centre console, door trims, and M Sport seats finished in Vernasca leather with Alcantara. Matching red seams also highlight the M Alcantara steering wheel, adding to its sporty feel. To make it even more exclusive, the car features uniquely engraved door sill strips that complete the premium look.
