Ultraviolette has introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option called Battery Flex for its X-47 motorcycle. The company announced this plan after the launch of the bike, aiming to make ownership more practical by separating the cost of the chassis and the battery. With this model, customers can purchase the X-47 starting at Rs 1,49,000 and subscribe to the battery at Rs 2,499 per month, with a warranty of 5 years on the battery pack. The battery is financed separately under a subscription plan, while the bike itself is bought outright. This reduces the upfront cost and spreads the expense of the battery over time.
Ultraviolette has partnered with Ecofy, a non-banking financial company focused on climate-positive adoption, to support financing for this initiative. The collaboration is designed to make electric mobility easier to access for a wider group of buyers.

The Ultraviolette X-47 presents itself as an adventure-touring motorcycle. At first glance, the design highlights include a headlamp inspired by the F77, an angular body structure, and a single-piece seat. The chassis uses cast aluminium, and a windscreen has been added to reduce wind impact on the rider. The company has also introduced a Desert Wing edition as part of the lineup.

On the technology front, the X-47 features radar-based assistance called UV Hypersense, available across all variants. This system provides a 150-degree front view, a 68-degree rear vertical view, and tracking up to 200 metres. Functions include rear collision alerts, lane change assistance, and overtake warnings. The motorcycle also comes with dual-channel ABS, traction control with four levels, nine levels of regenerative braking, dynamic stability control, and tow alert.
