Taj City coldest place in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: Minimum temperatures plummeted at several places in Uttar Pradesh where weather remained mainly dry today.

Mercury dipped in Varanasi, Faizabad, Allahabad, Agra and Gorakhpur divisions, the weather office said.

Agra, the Taj City, was the coldest place in the state recording a low of 3.7 degrees Celsius, it said.
