New Delhi: The new poster of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is here and is here to announce the arrival of the trailer. The trailer of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, the new film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar, releases Tuesday, revealed the new poster tweeted by south filmmaker R S Prasanna, who directs the film. The director, who just cannot wait for Tuesday to arrive, tweeted this: "Can't bear the excitement! Barely a day to go for the trailer. Kindly bear with us till then. Bear hug to team." Don't miss the reference to the 'bear hug' because the third one joining Ayushmann and Bhumi in the new poster is actually a bear. Yes, you read that correct.

The poster features Ayushmann's onscreen version in absolute sleep mode. Bhumi Pednekar's lap doubles up as a pillow while the bear (like we mentioned before) attempts to make itself comfortable against a sleeping Ayushmann. "Kya karun is Mudit ka! Aap log kal sote na reh jana," Bhumi tweeted along with the picture.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is produced by Anand L Rai and reunites Ayushmann and Bhumi for the second time after 2015's critically acclaimed Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Shubh Mangal Saavdhan went on floors in March with part of the shooting scheduled in Delhi. Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is also reportedly have been filmed in Haridwar, which was also the setting for Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

Ayushmann and Bhumi's characters were introduced earlier this year with the first look poster and was followed up by another that announced the release date as September 1.

In a statement, Anand L Rai had described the film as "funny and layered". "These are the kind of stories I've identified with, right from the time I made Tanu Weds Manu. It is a simple narrative with an interesting bend and the reason I cast Ayushmann and Bhumi is that they fit the bill perfectly for this part. They are the sort of actors I could be friends with even if they didn't belong to the fraternity. They are simple and humble," he added.

Dum Laga Ke Haisha was Bhumi Pednekar's debut project. She will next be seen in Toilet - Ek Prem Katha, her film with Akshay Kumar. Bareilly Ki Barfi is Ayushmann Khuranna's next film and he also has Manmarziyan in the pipeline.
