Passengers will be able to travel in India's first-ever Vande Bharat Sleeper train very soon. At a public event in Gujarat on Sunday (August 3), Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw mentioned that the launch will happen in September 2025. This much-awaited train service aims to recreate the success of Vande Bharat's semi-high-speed fleet on long-distance routes. The new service promises a significant leap in passenger comfort, speed, and modern design. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw noted that the sleeper version will complement existing services like Namo Bharat and Amrit Bharat. It is part of the government's broader effort to modernise Indian Railways.
