
Rapido, India's popular ride-hailing platform best known for its bike taxis, is taking a significant leap into the broader travel sector. The company has announced a major expansion of its services, introducing new features that allow users to book hotels, flights, inter-city buses, and train tickets - all within the same app. To enable this integrated experience, Rapido has partnered with Goibibo for hotel and flight bookings, redBus for bus tickets and ConfirmTkt for train ticket bookings.

"With this launch, whether it is a quick ride to the airport or planning your next family vacation, users can now manage their entire journey seamlessly in just a few clicks," Rapido said in a statement.
"With 50 million monthly active users, Rapido is bridging India's last-mile connectivity gaps and redefining everyday travel to be more accessible, affordable, and reliable for millions," the statement added.
Rapido co-founder Aravind Sanka said, "With this launch, we are taking a bold step forward by extending that promise from daily commutes to long-distance journeys. From the first mile to the last mile, Rapido is shaping the future of mobility and travel as a true one-stop partner for every Indian."

MakeMyTrip co-founder Rajesh Magow and ConfirmTkt CEO Dinesh Kumar Kotha also confirmed their partnership with Rapido and said they "were delighted to partner" with the ride-sharing platform.
Rapido began as a bike-taxi service for short-distance urban commutes and has steadily evolved into a comprehensive mobility app. Over time, it has expanded its offerings beyond bike rides to include auto and cab bookings. Additionally, Rapido recently entered the food delivery market with Ownly, positioning itself to compete with players like Zomato and Swiggy.
