The Indian Railways has introduced a new Vande Bharat Express between Lucknow and Saharanpur, enhancing intercity travel across Uttar Pradesh with a faster and more comfortable service. The Lucknow–Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express will run as train numbers 26504, covering 518 kilometres in around 7 hours and 45 minutes, nearly an hour faster than existing services.

Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Train Days Of Operation And Coach Information

The train will operate six days a week, except on Mondays. It consists of eight air-conditioned coaches, including seven chair cars and one executive chair car, featuring reclining seats and modern interiors.

The service will connect Lucknow, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Najibabad, Roorkee, and Saharanpur, making intercity travel smoother for commuters and tourists alike.

Train number 26504 will depart from Lucknow at 05:00 a.m. and arrive in Saharanpur at 12:45 p.m.
The return service, train number 26503, will leave Saharanpur at 03:00 p.m. and reach Lucknow Junction at 11:00 p.m.

Other Newly Launched Vande Bharat Trains

Alongside the Lucknow–Saharanpur route, the Prime Minister also inaugurated three other Vande Bharat Express trains to enhance intercity connectivity across India.

Banaras–Khajuraho Vande Bharat:

This new service links Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, and Khajuraho, directly connecting some of India's most prominent religious and cultural destinations. It reduces travel time by about two hours and forty minutes compared to the current special trains.

Firozpur–Delhi Vande Bharat:

The train will be the fastest on this route, completing the journey in six hours and forty minutes. It strengthens links between Delhi, Firozpur, Bathinda, and Patiala, boosting tourism, trade, and employment in the border regions.

Ernakulam–Bengaluru Vande Bharat:

Designed to improve connectivity between southern India's major IT and commercial hubs, this train will reduce travel time by more than two hours, completing the journey in eight hours and forty minutes. It is expected to support tourism and regional growth across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
