Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is setting a new benchmark for regenerative tourism and luxury hospitality. Located on a private island in Saudi Arabia's Red Sea, this five-star resort recently been recognised by the Forbes Travel Guide Star Award, making it the first 5-star property in Saudi Arabia
Officially opened in May 2024, Nujuma is the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the Middle East and one of only seven such exclusive estates globally. Its name is inspired by the Arabic word for 'stars'. The resort invites guests to embark on an exploratory journey and uncover the mysteries of one of the world's most flourishing coral reefs.
The resort features 63 seashell-inspired overwater and beachfront villas. Guests can choose between 1- to 4-bedroom options. Each villa comes equipped with a telescope, a private pool and panoramic views of the sea. The resort is also fully committed to sustainability and has a solar power system, a water reuse program and a mangrove planting initiative in place.

This is a Levantine-inspired, French-style patisserie named for its six striking pavilions. The venue has a spice library and a traditional clay oven for fresh bread. Popular dishes include fresh hummus prepared at your table and chocolatine pain perdu.
2. Tabrah
A seafood restaurant designed as a tribute to Saudi Arabia's fishing heritage. Guests can order Red Sea tuna carpaccio with caviar and the fresh catch of the day.
3. Jamaa
It is a poolside venue offering uninterrupted views of the sea, international light fare and wood-fired dishes. Guests can also enjoy shisha here. Popular orders include wood-fired pizzas, salads and Mediterranean-style mezzes.
4. Maia
As the sun dips below the horizon, Maia invites guests to catch a glimpse of the celestial world with guidance from star experts. At this bar, the focus on astronomy is accompanied by night sky-inspired mocktails.
How To Reach Nujuma
By Air: The fastest and most scenic route is via Fly Red Sea, the region's dedicated seaplane operator. The journey takes approximately 25–30 minutes from Red Sea International Airport.
By Car and Boat: Guests can also drive for 15–30 minutes from RSI to the Turtle Bay Jetty. From there, it takes a 45–60 minute speedboat or yacht transfer to reach the resort.
