Passport Fees Hiked To Rs 2,500 For New, Rs 5,000 For Tatkal

The application fee for an ordinary fresh passport or reissue with 60 pages has been increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,500. For the Tatkal service, applicants will be asked to pay Rs 6,000, as against Rs 4,000 earlier.
