Technical problem delays departure of flight

Chennai: A technical problem in a Delhi-bound Spicejet flight from here led to delay in the aircraft's departure by over two hours.

The engineering team noticed the problem in the flight SC-312 about an hour before its departure time of 7 AM.

After rectifying the problem, the plane took off with 199 passengers, including crew, at about 9.30 AM, airport sources said.
