Khade wins silver in Asian Swimming

New Delhi: Ace Indian swimmer Virdhawal Khade won a silver in the 100m freestyle at the Asian Swimming Championships in China on Friday.

In a closely fought race, Khade clocked 49.69 secs missing out on gold by just 0.05 secs.

Delhi boy Sandeep Sejwal bagged his second individual bronze medal by finishing third in 200m breaststroke event. He clocked 2min 14.99sec.

Khade will compete in the 50m freestyle on Saturday.

Another Indian, Mandar Divase finished fourth in 1500m freestyle with a timing of 15.56:95, becoming the first Indian to go below 16 minutes.
