The top brass of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will meet officials of the sports management firm IMG in a little while from now.

The meeting, scheduled at the BCCI headquarters, is apparently being held to find out the details of the financial deals which took place during Lalit Modi's tenure as the Indian Premier League (IPL) commissioner.

IMG conducts the Indian Premier League (IPL) and recently hit the headlines for being part of suspended IPL commissioner Lalit Modi's alleged plans of starting a rebel Twenty20 league in England.

While BCCI will be represented by President Shashank Manohar and secretary N Srinivasan, IMG will be represented by its senior vice president Andrew Wildblood and the firm's legal experts.

The meeting comes less than 48 hours after Modi responded to the BCCI's show cause notice on allegations of financial irregularities and bid riggings related to the T20 League with a voluminous reply running into over 10,000 pages. A total of 22 charges were levelled by the BCCI against Lalit Modi.

Modi was suspended on April 26, soon after the conclusion of the IPL Season Three final in Navi Mumbai by BCCI which sent him a show cause notice asking him to reply to a slew of charges relating to the conduct of the high-profile Twenty20 league. (With Inputs from PTI)
