Bellary:
Four labourers were killed on Monday when gelatin sticks they were carrying to a quarry suddenly exploded at Mustigatti village, about 30 km away, police said.
While three died on the spot, another died in hospital, they said.
The labourers, employed by a private stone crushing unit, were carrying the material from its godown to the quarry, police said.
They said the firm had stored the gelatin sticks illegally and an enquiry was on.
