Patna:
A mentally challenged man scaled the boundary of the Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport and went close to the runway before being arrested, officials said.
Kishori Paswan, a resident of Begusarai district, was spotted near the runway in the evening when an Air India flight from New Delhi to Patna was to land in few minutes time.
Alert CISF personnel caught him and handed him over to the police after interrogation.
"We didn't find any objectionable item in his possession," Mithilesh Kumar, station house officer of the airport, said.
The incident, however, delayed the landing of the Air India flight by half an hour.
